The 2023 World Usability Initiative (WUI) Design Challenge theme was "Collaboration and Cooperation". Submissions were reviewed by an international jury consisting of 9 members, chaired by Gilbert Cockton, Emeritus Professor of Design (Northumbria University) and Computer Science (University of Sunderland). Award winners were announced on World Usability Day, 9 November 2023.
In lieu of a BRONZE award, an Honorable Mention is presented
The Design Challenge 2023 Awards (Gold $1,250; Silver $1,000; and Bronze $750) are sponsored by the HCI International 2024 Conference and will be conferred during the Opening Plenary Session (evening of the 1st of July). The three award recipients are invited, with complimentary registration, to present their work in a special hybrid session during the conference.
World Usability Day is a single day of events occurring around the world that brings together communities of professional, industrial, educational, citizen, and government groups for our common objective: to ensure that the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use.
